For this project, our fabricators customized polished Tan Brown granite bar top with a triple pencil edge. The backsplash was tiled and we also installed a large bar sink in one of the counters. We sealed all the surface with DRYTREAT, securing twenty-five years of strong protection against stains, scratches and color fading.

Tan Brown is a dark-colored granite quarried from India. It has a dark brown undertone with black, grey and reddish hues of minerals all over its surface. Under low lighting, this stone’s detail is barely noticeable because its color looks as solid black. However, its beautiful colors and unique detail will stand out in a bright and well lit room.

When paired with dark-colored cabinetry such as maple or black, Tan Brown granite will create a clean rustic look. If you want to make a statement with this surface as your focal point, it is best to pair it with light-colored cabinets so that it color and detail will pop out in your design.
