Type of Job : Kitchen Island
Material : Marble
Color : Shadow Storm
Edge : Ogee Bullnose
Designer : Jaqueline Barron
In this project spotlight, we fabricated polished Shadow Storm marble slabs for a totally unique kitchen island. The slabs were customized with an ogee bullnose edge profile, which were then installed for an island in a kitchen with white cabinets. The island’s surface was sealed with Dry Treat for strong protections against stains, scratches, and color fading for up to twenty-five years!
Shadow Storm marble is a very popular alternative to white quartz. It is distinguished from other white marbles because of its greyish-white undertone that is patterned with beautiful grey veining. Shadow Storm’s soft color and details closely resemble Carrara white quartz.
Many designers and homeowners love this marble color because of its eye-catching color combinations and subtle design. Since marble is also naturally hard-wearing and resistant to heat, if maintained properly, Shadow Storm marble can last for decades! It is not only beautiful but also easy to maintain.
