For this kitchen project, we installed Astrus Black granite countertops with a demi-bullnose edge, and a large single bowl sink in one of the counters. The design of this granite color resembles the look of agate. It has a strikingly beautiful black background, with large areas and waves of brown and white mineral deposits throughout the surface. In low lighting, the background color appears to be dark grey, but when there is plenty of bright and natural light, the black granite will stand out.
