For our featured project of the week, we fabricated and installed honed Absolute Black granite slabs in a kitchen, for a customer in Nashville, TN.

These slabs were directly imported from India and were fabricated with a ⅛ inch bevel edge and a cutout for an undermount farm sink. We also installed them with a tile backsplash and soft grey cabinets. The new countertops were sealed for added protection against scratches, stains, and color fading.

Unlike other dark-colored granite slabs, Absolute Black is known for having a consistent solid color and texture. It’s deep black color is ideal if you want a bold, yet elegant look in your kitchen. This granite color creates a beautiful contrast when installed with lighter cabinet colors because it will naturally stand out and make an interesting focal point for the design.  For a more masculine look, simply pair Absolute Black with dark cabinetry.
