Project Profile: Rainforest Brown Granite in Pikeville, TN

Our clients also had a house they were selling that was located out of state. They noticed that everyone who came to see it commented that they had the same countertop at home. They then decided that with their new house, they wanted something very different for their kitchen countertops.

When they were ready to select countertops for their kitchen, they were referred to us and stopped by our showroom to see our vast inventory and discuss their ideas. We presented our line of exotic granite slabs and after careful consideration, they chose Rainforest Brown granite. Our fabricators customized it according to their specifications which included an Ogee edge profile, 4 inch backsplash, and cut outs for a farmhouse sink and free-standing stove. Since the kitchen windows were low, we also installed granite on the window sills, along with the riser and backsplash, which were all done flawlessly. The look is sensational! According to our happy clients, our installers Gregg and Josh did an amazing job!

Rainforest Brown is an exotic granite that is quarried in India. It is a stunning and dramatic granite with grey undertones and varying sizes of brown veining throughout the surface. Unlike other granite colors, this natural design creates an illusion that the veins are carved into the surface. When you look at it closely, the more noticeable it is, and it actually resembles tree branches. Rainforest Brown makes a dramatic statement in this kitchen and adds the “WOW” factor that our clients were looking for.
